  1. Register On line!  Choose a course category from the Courses menu, then view the descriptions at the right and follow the prompts.

  2. Register By Fax!  Print out the appropriate registration form here, fill in all necessary information including credit card info and FAX to: 770-429-3178. Registration forms are available in Adobe Acrobat format.

  3. Register By Mail!  Simply print out the appropriate registration form here and mail it along with your check. Registration forms are available in Adobe Acrobat format.

POLICIES:

  • No refunds are given unless the coordinator cancels the course.

  • Classes are held based on enrollment. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment your registration fee will be refunded in the manner in which you paid.

  • Classes will not be held if the schools are closed or dismissed early due to inclement weather or other emergencies. Missed classes will be rescheduled.

  • Rain checks are issued before the start of the class, after class starts no rain checks are issued.

  • Registrations are accepted until the class is full.

  • It is the policy of the Marietta Board of Education not to discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, marital status, disability or any other legally protected status in its educational programs, activities or employment practices. Antiques and Jewelry
If you like the Antiques Road Show series, you will love this course! If you like jewelry, you NEED this course! Appraising heirlooms and collectibles is easier than you think-once you learn about time periods, hallmarks, trademarks and secrets that antique dealers use.
This class includes free appraisals on items and jewelry that you bring in! The instructor is a gemologist and antiques appraiser with decades of experience. She lectures worldwide on cruise ships and has many tips for negotiating yard sales, exploring Ebay, and will share her expertise for buying or selling. Even professionals will enjoy the interesting folklore, myths, and legends that are discussed in class. Plenty of time for Q&A, bring 2 items for market evaluation/appraisal, and any jewelry, costume OR real - come and find out what you have!

Decorate on a Dime
Does your house need help but you are on a limited budget? This educational and creative interior design class will teach you how to transform your home while staying within your budget. You will learn about different decorating styles, color palette, refurbishing items in your home and much more! Did you know that just changing the paint color can completely change how a room looks? We will talk about the importance of choosing the correct paint colors, window treatments, and placement of pictures. This class will travel to one lucky student's house for the last class to experience what they have learned and to see how it can all be pulled together in a practical way. Learn many decorating tips and ideas from award winning interior designer Jan Britt. Jan has been featured on HGTV and has done magazine work in this field.

Taming Your Digital Camera
Forget all the technology, user manuals and expert advice. Learn how to use your digital camera in common, everyday terms in a proven course of instruction designed for absolute beginners using point-and-shoot digital cameras. More advanced photographers will be able to review new techniques, camera operation software and hardware.
