| American Red Cross Babysitter's Class
| | Love children? Want to earn some extra spending money? Do you know the qualities and responsibilities needed to be a great babysitter? Learn how to interview for the job, responsible decision making, safety in the house and outside, how to handle an emergency or illness, bedtime issues and much more. There will be fun activities, discussions and real-life problem-solving situations. You will receive an American Red Cross Babysitter's certificate upon completion of this class. Bring a sack lunch. | Marietta Art Imagination Camp
| Come grow your imagination and creativity while having fun at art camp. Learn and paint like many famous Impressionist artists. Experiment with pastels like Degas used. Make fun Matisse inspired collages. Paint with watercolors like Monet and Van Gogh. Learn different skills about how to mold pottery as you create fun clay projects that will be fired in the kiln. We will learn new and different painting skills as we paint on canvas. The students will learn different techniques and styles of painting with watercolor paint. Come ready to have a fun filled day of art instruction and learning many fun activities that will have you excited to come back each day. Dress for mess - Please bring your lunch, drink, and 2 snacks

| E.A.G.L.E. Jr. Golf - Summer Camp
| | This summer golf camp teaches children ages 6-12 the fundamentals of golf through age and ability appropriate lessons. This PGA recognized program combines experienced coaches with fun golf games in an encouraging learning environment. Lessons include putting, chipping, pitching and full swing shots; the rules and history of the game: scoring; parts of the golf course; golf equipment; course etiquette and responsibilities/ and an introduction to golf fitness through stretching and balance exercises. All equipment is provided for this program, although students are welcome to bring their own clubs. Students will receive a daily snack, and will compete for awards and prizes. We encourage student to wear comfortable sneaker s and weather appropriate attire. All skill levels are welcome!

| | Do you like to play video games? How would you like to make your own? GameMaker is the leading and most-powerful free, multi-platform, game development tool. In this session, students will learn the basics of using the GameMaker software to develop original games. Topics include making simple graphics, drag-and drop scripting, and debugging. Students should be comfortable using a computer; good math skills and problem solving are a plus. Please bring a flash drive to save work on.

| Summer Chess Camp
| Make the right move for your child this summer! Chess develops your child's reading and math ability, critical and analytical thinking skills, and builds character and self-esteem. But don't tell the kids...they think chess is fun! Our Chess Camp instructors and coaches are not only exceptional chess players themselves, but they have a passion for sharing their knowledge with children. They have years of chess playing experience, tournament experience, and the passion to keep the kids entertained! The class will be broken up based on experience level. Our beginner students will learn the history, pieces and know how to play chess by the end of the week. Our more experienced players will be exposed t strategy, competitive edge and tactics that will expand their game. Activities will include Blitz Chess, Blindfold Chess, King of the Hill, Reviewing Famous Chess Games, etc.....Plenty to keep your children entertained throughout the week! | Movie Making 101 - Brick 4 Kidz®
| | Lights, Camera, LEGO® action! Use LEGO® bricks to tell YOUR story, complete with music, special effects and all your favorite LEGO® mini-figure characters! In this unique and creative camp, students will plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce their own mini-movie using Stop Motion Animation. Working as a team, students will use LEGO® components to build the set and props, then shoo their movie using a camera. Teams will use movie-making software to add special effects, titles, credits and more. When the movie is complete, campers will impress friends and family with a screening party on the last day of camp. Don't miss you chance to be a movie producer!

| | Kids love patterns, and Zentangle® is perfect for kids! Children will learn the basics of the Zentangle® drawing method in this fun 8 week class. Students will learn simple tangles (patterns), basic shading methods and how to create Zentangle® Inspired Art. Students will go home daily with pieces of artwork. Zentangle® practice can help develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, improve focus and concentration, encourage relaxation, and increase children's ability to recognize patterns.

| STEMmulating Summer Fun
| Spend an exciting and fun filled week with STEM teachers from Marietta Center for Advanced Academics, the first STEM Certified School in the state of Georgia. Students will explore science, technology, engineering and math through hands-on learning. Each day will cover a different topic of interest. If your child likes to use his/her imagination, design, create, build and test things, this will be STEMulating while learning at the same time. -"Air"O Dynamics: Exploring flight and space by designing, building and testing model airplanes. -Brain Games: Using laptops and technology to create games for learning. -Hot out of the Oven: Designing and building a solar oven. Students will test their designs by baking chocolate chip cookies. -What's the Matter?: Conducting investigation with solids, liquids and gases that explore physical and chemical changes. Be prepared to get slimy. -Towers, Bridges and Shelters, Oh My!: Can you build the tallest, strongest or sturdiest structure? In this class you will find out!
